In this lesson we are going to learn about how to make simple sentences in present tense in Hindi for your daily routine.
We will start step by step we shall see only first person pronouns (singular and plural):
Attach suffix – ता हूँ ( –taa hoon) if the gender is Masculine and – ती हूँ ( –tee hoon) for Feminine to the root of the verb.
for example:
I wake up = मैं उठ – ता हूँ | (main uthtaa hoon) said by Male.
I wake up = मैं उठ – ती हूँ | (main uthtee hoon) said by Female.
Present Tense in Hindi Example Gender : Masculine

मैं Home जा-ता हूँ | main home jaa-taa hoon | I go to the home. |
मैं Vada Pav खा-ता हूँ | main vada pav khaa-taa hoon | I eat vada pav. |
मैं Coffee पी-ता हूँ | main coffee pee-taa hoon | I drink coffee. |
मैं सो-ता हूँ | main so-taa hoon | I sleep. |
